Assigned Plans

Here you can see which Plans are assigned to this API product.

Administration Portal - API Products - Plans

To subscribe to an API Product, you must assign at least one plan to it. After that, you can choose between the assigned plans when subscribing.

note

An API can belong to multiple API products, but you can only subscribe to one of the plans that contains the same API.

Assigned Plans

In the upper table under Assigned Plans you can see the plans currently available when subscribing to this API product. You can remove the plan from the selection with Unassign. However, if the plan is used in a subscription, this is not possible. You would first have to delete all subscriptions with this plan or change the plan.

With the Subscribe button, you can directly select an application and subscribe to this API product with the selected plan.

Unassigned Plans

With Assign you can add plans to the API product in the table below. The plans can then be used immediately for subscription.

Boomi API Gateway Plans

If you have plans in Boomi API Gateway, the following behavior exists when discovering in API Control Plane, to avoid showing unused or duplicate plan data in API Control Plane:

  • Unsubscribed plans: API Control Plane only displays APIs and applications that are subscribed to at least one plan. Plans that are not subscribed will not be discovered.

  • Multiple plans for the same application: If the same application is subscribed to multiple plans for the same API, API Control Plane will only display the first plan.

  • Different applications: Subscribing multiple plans to the same API is supported if each subscription uses a different application.
